ELCA Fund for Leaders
What did I do?
Producing
Coordinated filming in seven states and two countries, including pre-production, travel bookings, budget management and post production timeline for deliverables before a Fall donor event.
Photography
Provide print quality images for marketing materials including environmental portraiture and candids of scholarship recipients at work. These were used on invitations, mailings, e-newsletters and other content that was distributed to celebrate the 20th and 25th anniversaries.
Editing
Edit individual stories and overall videos of the program to give viewers an idea of the scope of the program during its 25 years of existence. The overall videos were shown at the Anniversary Gala in Chicago.
Share 25 years of the Fund for Leaders
The program leads wanted to show the impact the seminary scholarship program has made across the ELCA by visiting scholarship recipients in their current roles around the U.S. and the globe. It also wanted to give an idea of the history of the program and how it started.
Connect donors to students
To humanize the program, we shared scholarship recipients personal faith stories and how the Fund for Leaders changed the trajectory of their careers. This helped donors see their dollars were fundamentally changing the church.
Demonstrate impact
In 25 years, Fund for Leaders grew far beyond its initial goals thanks to dedicated contributions from across the church. The church wanted to hear from those original leaders and honor their visionary idea.
